Interesting Night

So I was on my way to a few birthday parties in the city last night with my girls Moe and B. We were on the Oakland side of the Bay Bridge when all of sudden the car started to just slow down and then stop. We were stalled on the bridge and no way of getting off unless we called the callbox. I told Moe to turn the car over to see what happens and then it started again. We started to go, and got to the middle of the San Francisco side of the bridge, but then the car just stopped again... it was crazy and scary because cars were approaching our vehicle at 50+ mph and then swerving out of the way to miss us. Once Moe called Caltrans on a callbox and got back into the car, a car approached us from behind and tried to get over around us. Just then, an older guy in the car went crashing into the car behind us. Thankfully for us, the car never hit us. When I got out to check on the ladies in the car behind us and the guy behind them, I saw that the car was no more than an inch from hitting us. whew! Shortly after, Caltrans and CHP arrived and CHP pushed us off the freeway. We could have been hurt. Even those in the accident behind us, walked away from it.

Like I said last night, this is yet another thing to bring us closer together. I was nauseated after that, but thankful at the same time.
